World Mortality Rate due to Cancer

There are 14.1 million new cases of cancer diagnosed every year worldwide. Out of 14.1 million 8.2 million of death reported due to cancer and rest of the cancer cases linked to exposure to tobacco, alcohol and some of them are hereditary.

Total 356,860 cases of cancer in UK reported yearly. Out of the total no. new cases 163,444 deaths were reported.46% of total deaths are due to lung, bowel, breast or prostate cancer.  50% of survival are those who survive cancer from 10 or more years.
